Lush meadows, dense forests and all surrounded by the Dolomite peaks shining in the sunlight. Nature Park Fanes-Sennes-Braies (Unesco World Natural Heritage)

With its diverse flora and fauna and a total area of 25,453 hectares, the Fanes-Sennes-Briaies Nature Park is one of the most beautiful nature parks in the country. In 2009, the park was declared a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. Meadows full of alpine roses, clear mountain streams that rise in the rocky terrain and picturesque mountain lakes, such as the well-known Lake Braies and the Lè de Limo, are to be discovered between the peaks of the Dolomites – also called the “pale mountains”. The Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park is a popular destination not only in summer, but also in winter. The refuges are also accessible by snowcat in winter.

Only a few steps (100mt.) away from Camping AL PLAN Dolomites is the visitor centre of the nature park, which offers a variety of activities for young and old.
